Description of indicator: This indicator represents the number of bottles of HCV SOF-based treatment regiments exported by generic Indian manufacturers. Each bottle only has 28 pills, and therefore this number reported is NOT a proxy for number of patients treated.

The primary data source for this report is the India Import Export Database. Data from both public and private sectors is included for volumes greater than 50 bottles. The cumulative number of bottles of SOF-based regimens (SOF, SOF/DCV, SOF/VEL, SOF/LDV) are reported on the dashboards. The number of bottles of DCV is also in the report but DCV cannot be used on its own and it cannot be determined whether DCV was used in combination with SOF or another product based on this data set alone.
