Summary and objectives

V-VHA's mission is to stimulate and facilitate the design, funding, and implementation of high-impact public health initiatives in Vietnam to deal decisively with the huge and pressing problems of hepatitis B and C.

As of March 1, 2020:

1) V-VHA has screen over 17,000 individuals in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) for HBV and HCV.

2) V-VHA has provided awareness and in-person training to nearly 1,000 health care providers in Vietnam.

3) V-VHA has launched a community awareness campaign through Vietnamese television and social media to reach over 30,000 households.

V-VHA continues to seek funding to expand our capacity to outreach and screen vulnerable populations outside of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
