Summary and objectives

ASTHO, with support from the CDC, is providing capacity building assistance to state health agencies in planning for hepatitis B and C elimination. Through an RFP process, 19 states have applied to participate in the learning community. The Learning Community features monthly webinars which provide opportunities for peer-to-peer exchange on various aspects of elimination planning. Monthly discussions center around a specific policy or program strategy that participants have identified as a challenge or area of interest. In addition to the 19 states, CDC and NASTAD staff participate in the discussions and provide technical information when requested.
