Shakila Ali is currently a graduate student at Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University studying Global Health with a Certificate in Complex Humanitarian Emergencies. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Behavior and a minor in Disabilities. Her long-term interests focus on humanitarian health, health disparities, at-risk communities, and human rights. Most of her prior work involves health education, research, advocacy, and service. Prior to joining the team, Shakila worked on health education efforts with the Trauma ICU at UF Health Shands Hospital.
