New National Hepatitis Elimination Profiles Now Available!
The Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination is excited to introduce new National Hepatitis Elimination Profiles (NHEPs) for
Developed in collaboration with local stakeholders, the profiles comprehensively assess the status of hepatitis elimination and will be a critical resource for country and global program planning, advocacy, and resource mobilization efforts.
NHEPs aim to bring together key data to assess status of hepatitis elimination efforts, including:
- Hepatitis burden
- Implementation of hepatitis prevention, testing and treatment services
- Policy development
- Health equity for key populations
- Partnerships
They also assess progress toward program targets and health outcome goals, and they highlight achievements, challenges, and feasible next steps for countries to pursue elimination.
